When not on trips around the world producing avant-garde travel programs, he has contributed his production expertise to many projects, including Multiverse, a genre-bending monthly art party in San Francisco, and the critically acclaimed SF Fashion Week.

Hal has helped launch 2 small production companies: FAQ Productions, which provides personalized interactive video for companies such as State Farm and Ameriprise, and Bad Babysitter Productions, which crafts viral video and short form consumer documentaries for blue chip clients such as Jamba Juice and Coors.
